Professor James McCalman
Summary
I am interested in how the notions of Leadership, Culture, Change and Compliance intersect in terms of the regulation of firms in the banking and financial sector.
Of late, my research and publications have concerned how Banks need to re-interpret notions of compliance behaviour imposed upon them by regulatory bodies towards ideas of leadership and cultural change from within. This is done in collaboration with colleagues in Australia and Hong Kong.
