Create 3D imagery in our bespoke scanning rig

Location: Eldon Building

The process of photogrammetry involves scanning people, objects, or locations with multiple cameras to create accurate 3D imagery.

In our Photogrammetry and Scanning Studio, students have access to our custom-designed scanning rig with 144 Canon EOS RP cameras, which can scan any subject—from architecture models to fashion outfits designed by our undergraduate Fashion students.

The Studio is part of our £7 million Centre for Creative and Immersive Extended Reality (CCIXR), the UK’s first innovation centre for extended reality (XR) technology, offering world-class facilities for training, research, and development.
