The 1024ºË¹¤³§ is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Female Entrepreneurs Network with a special event on Friday 8 March.
The Female Entrepreneurs Network was established by the University in 2014 to support and celebrate women business owners, freelancers and aspiring business owners across the South Coast. Its free events connect businesswomen through and the opportunity to seek support, training and advice from its inclusive community.
The 10th anniversary event will feature a keynote talk from Karen Blackett OBE, Chancellor of the 1024ºË¹¤³§.
Karen is a proven business leader with a track record in creating vibrant cultures, energising teams, and consistently delivering business growth and success. She is currently UK President for WPP, the world’s largest marketing services group, and responsible for driving growth in
Karen will reflect on how empowering women changes the business world for good and how the women in her life have supported and guided her. There will also be a Q&A with Karen afterwards.
There will then be an opportunity to network, enjoy some refreshments and browse the business showcase.
This free event, which coincides with International Women’s Day, is open to anyone and it takes place from 12 noon to 2pm in the 1024ºË¹¤³§ Business School, Richmond Building, 1024ºË¹¤³§.
