Session Outline

Facilitated by staff from the newly formed CADI team (Centre for Academic & Digital Innovation), this session aims to help staff become familiar with Wiseflow as we expand support for the platform across the University during the 2024/25 academic year. Wiseflow will be used to support 14,000 student assessments during the coming academic year.

This session will be particularly useful for staff members who currently utilise Moodle assignments, as these assessments will be replaced with Wiseflow assessments across all Moodle modules in the upcoming academic year.

Topics to be covered:

- Demonstration of student submissions, marking, and feedback functionality. (MT)

- Rollout plan for Wiseflow and support arrangements for staff including an overview of available assessment types. (MW)

- Division of labour between academics, Academic Services, and CADI staff (MW)

- Considerations for new assessment regulations within Wiseflow (MW)

- Participation monitor - keeping track of student assessment submissions (CW)

- Downloading grades (CW)

We will be delivering a Wiseflow staff development programme for academic staff throughout the 2024/25 academic year. This session forms the start of the programme. A range of session topics to support academics will be added to the programme as the summer continues.
